Talking about Bones’ popularity around the world.

“I love that it’s popular. It means that - hopefully - we’ll be able to do it for longer. And, uh, do more seasons. Knock on the wood. I really enjoy doing the show. I like it, I’m proud of it. We work really hard on it. So, when people watch it and appreciate it, it makes it that much sweeter. You don’t feel like you’re doing it all in vain. So, it’s… it’s pretty great. I can’t really think about all the people that watch it. How many places it shows… airs in the world.”

Talking about how she decided she’d play Temperance Brennan.

“Absolutely. That was probably number 1 on my list of reasons I wanted to do the show. It’s hard when you look at a television show and you have one script that’s probably fifty something pages and you have to decide if you wanna sign your life away from seven years, sign a contract before you even get the part . So, it’s…it’s such a hard decision to make as an actor, you know, whether you wanna spend years living as this person and playing this character. I love the fact that she is so smart. She is strong both mentally and physically, she is like an martial artist [giggles] and all that. And she doesn’t need a man to save her. Hart Hanson, the creator of the show, promised me that, you know, Booth would not save Brennan until Brennan had saved Booth first. And he lived up to that. I love that aspect of the show. So, I also think that’s interesting that the character has a lot of things that she needs to work on like her relationships with people, her personal relationships and her ability to see gray areas in life rather than only black and white. So, she is really trying to move forward, and grow as a person, and I love that aspect of the character that she is flawed and she is growing and learning.”

Talking about Booth and Brennan:

“That’s the number one people. Number one people? Number one question people ask me is “Are Booth and Brennan gonna get together?” or “When are they gonna get together?” and we had this kiss last season, which I think you guys already saw in the UK and we’ve been told by Hart, our creator, that we’re gonna be in bed together. So, I don’t know what that entails, but that’s what he said. It’s a naked in bed together, not just “in bed”, we have to share a bed, because we are camping or something. I don’t know. But, yeah, naked in bed together.”
